How to Wash Your Car Without Water: Complete Waterless Washing Guide
Waterless washing lets you wash your car without a drop of water. Done correctly it is safe for the paint. Done wrong it is one of the most damaging methods. The difference lies in technique and products.
When to use it (and when not to)
- ✓ Car with light dust or surface dirt
- ✓ Quick clean between normal washes
- ✓ Without access to water: garage, car park, travelling
- ✗ Never on a car with mud, sand or aggressive dirt — abrasive particles would scratch the paint

The scratch-free technique
- Work on 40x40cm sections at a time — never the whole car at once
- Spray the product and leave for 10–15 seconds
- Dab with the MA-FRA All Round Ultimate using linear movements, never circular
- Use one side of the cloth to pick up the dirt, then flip for the finishing pass
- Work from top to bottom; tackle the lower section (bumper, sills) last
Fundamental rule: use enough clean cloths. When one side gets dirty, flip it. A dirty cloth passed over clean paint causes scratches.
