Powermax Brake Antiseize PT22114 is a specific anti-seize lubricant for brake system components. This is not brake fluid: it is a technical lubricating paste to be applied to caliper piston guides, pad pins, and metal contact surfaces to prevent seizing and avoid squealing, vibrations, and uneven brake wear. 500ml format for workshop and DIY use.

Powermax Brake Antiseize creates a stable protective layer that resists water and the high temperatures generated during braking. It keeps pistons sliding freely, prevents rust forming on pad-to-bracket contact surfaces, and ensures pads wear evenly over time. The result: quiet, responsive brakes and optimal pad life.

  • Brand: Powermax
  • Size: 500 ml
  • Use: Lubrication of caliper guides, pad pins, and brake system contact surfaces
  • Compatibility: Steel and aluminium brake calipers – disc brakes on cars, motorcycles, vans – never apply to brake discs or friction surfaces of pads
  • SKU: PT22114
  • Category: Brake system lubricants / Workshop products

First clean the caliper guides and pins with a brake cleaner. Apply a thin, even layer of Brake Antiseize with a brush to the guides, the metal backing plate of the pads, and the caliper pins. Never apply to discs, pads, or drum brake shoes. Reassemble and bed in the brakes gradually.

Should it be applied at every pad change?

Yes, it is recommended to apply it at every brake pad replacement to prevent seizing and squealing from the very first use.

Can it be used on drum brakes?

It can be used on drum brakes too, applying only to the pins and metal sliding surfaces, never to the shoes or the drum itself.
